Mid-Atlantic AAU Taekwondo Qualifier

The Phoenixville Middle School gym was alive with shouts and cheers last weekend as the Mid Atlantic AAU Tae-kwon-do competition kicked off. Students of all ages from various Taekwondo schools came together to take part in the qualifiers for the AAU Nationals in Florida. The competition for each event was fierce. Only a few walked away with medals, but everyone gave it their all and showed great sportsmanship. There are a few martial arts schools in the Phoenixville area, so if you’re interested in taking part in the next competition, now’s the time to join one and start training!
